Why Raw?

The reasons are countless!  Beauty, increased energy, clarity of
thought, greater sexual virility, having greater control of your
health. All of these things create a better quality of life and a
feeling of peace and increased happiness. What is more natural
than picking a ripe delicious piece of fruit from a tree and eating
it; there are not many who would not enjoy that.  Raw food is not
the end all or cure all of all of our ills, but it should be a key
component to any wholistic lifestyle in addition to exercise,
sunlight, rehydration, cleansing, meditation, fun, meaningful
relationships, etc.

Raw living
vegan foods are uncooked foods, meaning no grilling,
steaming, frying, etc. Living foods are raw foods with the enzymes
intact, preferably
organic; they may be dehydrated, frozen, or
fermented but not heated above temperatures above 110 degrees
(this temperature varies slightly in different books). Cooking above
these temperatures destroys the enzymes, nutrients, and life force
of the food.
