Why Vegan?

A vegetarian abstains from eating any animals including birds
and fish.  A vegan is one who abstains from eating any animal
products including meat, eggs, milk, or any derivatives of
such.  Most Raw Foodists eat a vegan lifeit and do not eat
meat for physical and environmental reasons.  One of the main
reasons is that meat is hard to digest and diminishes the
vitality of the body.  Dairy products are mucus-forming and a
major allergen.  A larger culprit in today's society is the
consumption of processed foods that contain many chemicals,
preservatives, hormones, dyes, and harmful additives that are
detrimental to our health.
